Bilgisayar Programcılarına İngiltere’de çalışma ve Yerleşme Fırsatı

Bilgisayar Teknolojileri alanında uzman programcılar, genelde Ankara Anlaşması ile İngiltere’ye gelerek serbest yazılımcı olmanın yollarını arıyorlar. Ancak, Ankara Anlaşması, bilgisayar programcılarına pek uymuyor. Bunun nedeni, programcıların genellikle uzun süreli projelerde çalışıyor olmaları. İngiliz İçişleri Bakanlığı, Ankara Anlaşması ile İngiltere’de programcılık yapanların, gerçekte çalışma izni gerektiren bir iş yaptıklarını düşünüyor. Yani, kendi işini yapmalarını gerekirken, müşterileri olan kişi veya şirketlerde aslında işçi olarak çalıştıklarını öne sürerek, vize uzatım başvurularında sorun çıkarıyorlar.

Ancak, Ankara Anlaşması’na başvurmadan çalışma izni ile İngiltere’ye gelmek de mümkün. Tabii, bunun için ciddi anlamda yetenekli bir programcı olmak gerekiyor. Eklemekte yarar var. 5 yıl çalışma izni ile kaldıktan sonra kalıcı oturum ve vatandaşlık şansı da oluyor.

Responsibilities/Duties:
As a senior software engineer, you will design, develop and deliver software solutions in conjunction with our software development team and in accordance with software development principles and guidelines.

Your responsibilities include:
• Architecting and developing complex JavaScript-powered applications
• Working closely with backend developers and UX designers
• Developing highly interactive and robust user-facing features across desktop and mobile web platforms
• Continually identifying areas of opportunity to optimise client-side performance and scalability
• Managing the complexity of a highly localised, cross-browser/device product by performing rigorous testing to ensure our products are up-to-standard before release
• Building and maintaining reusable code and libraries that can be leveraged by other engineers and designers
• Writing code and automated tests, and conducting code reviews and testing
• Playing a key role in existing complex projects and future projects, and interacting with our clients to gather and complete their software development projects.
• Testing of developed solutions for conformance with requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of commercial experience with JavaScript
• At least 1 year of commercial experience with frameworks & libraries such as AngularJS, Backbone.js or ReactJS (+Flux)
• Semantically marked up HTML
• Responsive Design
• Experience on Bootstrap or any framework that has grid-system
• CSS, including LESS & SASS
• git
• NodeJS, ExpressJS
• Unit tests (Jasmine, Chai)
• Experience on Automation / E2E tests

The followings are preferred:

• React
• Development & consumption of HTTP APIs
• D3.js
• RESTFul API
• Google Apps & APIs
• MongoDB, SQL experience

Qualification/Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree: Computer science or an engineering discipline with a good result (Preferred)
